So as you may or may not know at this point, I don’t have what you might call “a conscience.”  I just wasn’t born with the same emotional compass that almost every human being is supposed to possess.  But this quote, this almost made me feel bad for Tim Tebow.  The guy goes out and leads a pretty shitty team to improbable victories using pseudo-religious powers gained from refusing to have sex with women, and what does he get for it?  A swift kick to the taint.  People deserve to be rewarded when they perform well, and Tebow busted his ass to deliver the best Broncos season in 6 years.  For that he deserved better that what he just got.

Just kidding.  Tebow sucks.  He was 30th among quarterbacks in overall performance according to ProFootballFocus.  His completion percentage was below 50% (46.5%).  His QB rating was a far below average 72.9, and he averaged just 6.4 yards per attempt — worse than Rex Grossman and tied for 28th in the NFL.  I don’t care about the wins either, because the offense only averaged 19 points per game with Tebow running it.  The Broncos defense was the reason they won 8 games, not Teblow.  God Zul willing, this will be the end of the road for this overrated QB impersonator.

PS- Nothing against Tebow the person, either.  By all accounts he seems like a stand up guy.  Except for the whole “abstinence” thing.

PPS- And being left handed.  Lefty QBs suck.
